Peterborough, ON – May 13, 2024 – Get ready to lose yourself in the rhythm as MAY TWO FIVE takes over The El (P) tonight, from 8 PM until 2 AM, located at 380 George Street N.
MAY TWO FIVE promises an enchanting blend of live performances and DJ sets, offering something for every music lover. Featuring the soulful melodies of the UKULELE TRIO, including Kat Kendrick, Harbhajunkie, and LA Alfonso, attendees will be treated to a diverse range of sounds, from heartfelt lyrics to laid-back beats.
The night will continue with electrifying DJ sets from Chantal Glo, Dauri Cems, and SPAZZMONK. From groovy house beats to tribal tech house vibes, each DJ promises to keep the energy high and the dancefloor packed.
Adding to the immersive experience are mesmerizing visuals provided by Age of Moss, Myth Moth, and Duv Heron, creating an atmosphere that transcends the ordinary.
Presented by LA&CO and Otonabeats, and powered by Illectric City Soundsystem, MAY TWO FIVE is more than just a music event—it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and connection.

Kat Kendrick (she/they) is a talented writer and composer who specializes in creating soundtracks for films and live performances. Their work has been featured in films produced by the Itty Bitty Skitch Committee, and they have also collaborated with the Peterborough Academy of Circus Arts to provide music for amazing circus performers. When Kat is not crafting soundtracks, they love to make people laugh with their hilarious musical stand-up and improv performances.
Harbhajunkie is the stage name for Mridul Harbhajanka, who makes laid-back, dreamy, space music in her bedroom. With heartfelt lyrics, her music often combines the ukulele or keys with layers and layers of dreamy vocals.
LA Alfonso (folk/pop) will play a mini peace concert with his ukulele.

Chantal Glo has been an active participant in the Otonabeats music scene from the early days. She passionately contributes her mixes to the Trent Radio show and delights in mixing tunes with music lovers of all kinds. When she’s not behind the decks, Chantal Glo enjoys dancing to the groovy beats crafted by fellow DJs in this vibrant community she’s proud to be a part of.
While Chantal really enjoys drum and bass, she has a special affinity for the House Music genre. Party-goers often find her spinning a fusion of Afro, Funky, and Tech house tracks. For May Two-Five, expect to be serenaded with a journey of softer, uplifting beats from Organic house, gradually transitioning to foot-stomping Afro and Funky house rhythms, ensuring you depart the dancefloor feeling utterly revitalized.
Paz Ciuk (Dauri Cems) is a prolific DJ, drummer, percussionist, coach, healer, workshop and meditation facilitator, and multimedia event organizer. Originally from Mexico City, they have been vibing in Canada for the past 15 years. Throughout their time in Canada they have been leading and co-creating inclusive projects in the world of the arts, culture and spirituality, providing platforms for artists and creatives to emerge and share their gifts with their community. Paz is currently based in Collingwood, ON, where they host a variety of events.
In their 17 years of DJing, Dauri Cems has performed in different festivals in Canada like Solstice, Future Forest, Sonic Springs, Bloom, as well as performing in a variety of clubs, underground parties and ecstatic dance events locally, in Mexico and the U.S. As a DJ they have spinned and explored a variety of genres and styles.
Today, the Dauri Cems dance experience is a multi-dimensional journey through different soundscapes of the world, working with the crowd as a magic medicine being to travel, connect, process, and celebrate life amongst those special frequencies. Having a strong background on Latin American music, expect to listen and groove to sounds from those parts of the world, alongside a plethora of sounds from his whimsical palette of possibilities.

Gabor Podor aka DJ SPAZZMONK has been spinning beats in the Toronto underground for over two decades. Spinning an eclectic variety of tunes and styles, DJ SPAZZMONK is best known for his ragga jungle sets headlining the annual Solstice/OM festivals’ Friday night Spore stage. A phenomenal selector with a smooth technical mixing style, Gabor has played jungle, drum and bass, tech house, and downtempo sets for many Toronto event series such as Architextures, Bass Driven, as well as summer festivals such as Boreal and Anahata.
For MAY TWO FIVE, he’ll be busting out some brand new beautiful tribal tech house.

Paul Moss (Age of Moss) – Paul has been creating and curating transformative psychedelic art and events for over ten years. His video projection installations explore the intersections of light, form, geometry, and time. Paul’s work seeks to challenge the mind’s sense of what is possible. He aims to push the boundaries of perception to create unique and ephemeral experiences for his audience. When he is not creating strange new works, Paul enjoys cycling, DJing, climbing, and cats.
Myth Moth – Tegan Moss (illusive, emergent, prone to eclipse) will present The Light Lounge.
Duv Heron (David Howlett) David specializes in video installation, projection mapping, interactive sculpture, and music videos.
Otonabeats is a staple in the local dance music scene. For years now they have introduced the Peterborough community to seasoned and emerging DJs through their talent showcases and dance parties.
LA & CO’s previous event, “re(love)olution” was a sold out Pride party event in September 2023.
